Mexico City, the vibrant capital of Mexico, is home to one of the most important religious sites in the Americas - the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Basilica complex sits at the foot of Tepeyac Hill, where it is believed the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego in 1531.
