Industry meets culture in coastal Vigo, home to a massive fishing port plus ancient Roman ruins, neoclassical churches, and an authentic Galician old town. Discover the Christmas Lights of Vigo, the biggest city in Galicia, Spain with us. In Vigo, the lights start to go up in August for the world's largest holiday light display. We will virtually enjoy the breath-taking holiday lights scattered through its streets. The mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero boasts, saying the lights of Vigo will be seen all the way to New York City! Over 350 streets are decorated with 11 million led-lights, 3,000 different themes and 1,000 trees are lit up! As well as this amazing light display there will be a huge snowman, a Ferris wheel, the holiday market, skating arena, and an enormous ski hill in the downtown area.
