City of Reunification. Berlin is the capital and largest city in Germany. It is a city of diverse sites, the Bradenburg Gate (last rebuilt about 250 years ago), Jewish Memorial, Reichstag Building (and its glass dome), Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island and so many more. The small sections of the wall that remain are mostly covered in graffiti. A large remaining section of the Berlin wall (just over ¾ of a mile) was used for art; 118 artists, from 21 countries, gathered in 1990 and used the wall to create the East Side Gallery. Our one hour interactive holiday experience will take you live and virtually to a holiday/Advent event called Weinhachten in Berlin. It is a 150 year old historic holiday spectacle with medieval charm during the Advent season. Potters, blacksmiths, woodcarvers and many more show their craft and sell their products. The market stalls offer hearty drinks such as hot mead and mulled wine as well as savory delicacies. In the incomparable flair between the old factory buildings, jugglers and acrobats will perform their fire juggling and artistic clown theatre to historical music. Everyone can prove their skills at archery, crossbow shooting and troll forest. Young visitors can look forward to the hand-operated wooden carousel, have fun on a giant wooden wheel or ride a pony.
